COVID CRISIS
With the COVID-19 crisis, Bolivia has been in and out of total lockdown for many months. In a country where people live from "hand to mouth", this has caused economic crises for many people, who haven't been able to work enough to buy food for their family.
Without government subsidies like we have in Canada, many people have been struggling.
Our brothers and sisters of Rescatados de Jesús have been identifying families in need and are buying food staples for these families each month wth money we are able to send.
They have also identified people that are ill with Covid and we have been able to help with medical bills and medicines for them.

The parents of these children left their village to find work in another city just before the Covid19 lockdown. They were unable to return when all transportation was stopped.
God worked a number of miracles to find our group transportation and permission to take food to them in their village. He even provided a policeman who wanted to help them so accompanied them through all the road blocks!

When the group took food to this family, the girl said, "We ran out of food a couple days ago. Last night I prayed that God would send help. This morning you arrived with food for us!" Our team didn't know this before they went.
