With the COVID-19 crisis, Bolivia has been in and out of total lockdown for many months. This means people can only go out of their house at certain times on certain days of the week (according to their ID number), and weekends they are not allowed to leave their houses at all.
This means little or no possibility of work for most people, and without government subsidies like we have in Canada, many people soon began running out of food.
We have committed to send money to help buy food staples for 20 families for 3 months (starting in May).
Our brothers and sisters of Rescatados de Jesús were able to find a way to buy and store the food, and God provided a way for them to get the food to the people who need it.
